Family Child Care
Family Child Care homes have openings for children of all ages. The program is available to all individuals with base access. Referral lists are available at the FCC office, the Child Development Center, the Youth Center, Housing Office and the Library or call 846-1802 for information on new providers. Orientation classes for new providers are scheduled as needed, either monthly or quarterly.
If you are an active duty Air Force family with PCS orders, the Air Force Aid Society will pay for up to 20 hours of child care per child in an FCC home on Kirtland AFB within 60 days of PCSing in or out. See the Airman and Family Readiness Center for a voucher or call 846-0741 for more information.

The Family Child Care Program rewards their outstanding providers with a plaque for "Provider of the Quarter." Family Child Care is always looking for caring people to become Providers. You can work from home while caring for your own children, be in charge of your own business, receive great child care training, and use the lending library to check out toys and supplies for your business. If you are interested in becoming a provider, fill out the attached application and call or visit the FCC Office, 846-1802.
