The Tijeras Arroyo Golf Association
promotes the game of golf to the Kirtland
AFB community in accordance with USGA guidelines. The
competitive season consists of ten monthly tournaments
from February to the following November. The wide array
of formats employed for each tournament range from
individual stroke play, 2 person and 4 person teams. The
association dues are $30.00 for calendar year. With this
membership you receive a USGA handicap in the GHIN
system.
TAGA holds a tournament a month except in Dec & Jan. The
tournament entry fees range from $20.00 - $100.00 per
person depending on the event and format. All the money
that TAGA collects is returned to the membership in one
form or another by supplementing the tournament prize
fund, providing at least one meal for all competitions,
and disseminating a turkey to each participant at the
November event (Turkey Shoot) - the association’s final
tournament of the year.
